The governorship aspirant of the SDP, Rivers State, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe paid a courtesy visit to the palace of HRH. King Amb.Dr. Appolus Chu OFR in Eleme.
The governorship candidate, Magnus Abe while addressing king Chu and some of his council of Chiefs noted that though, he is from Eleme by birth, his passport carries Eleme as his home, he seeks their votes and support because he has plans to rebrand and revive Rivers state.
He stated his plans for the state if elected as the next governor, some of the plans were the revival of the law and a solution to insecurity, and the creation of enabling environment for the business community to thrive which in turn will create jobs for the people and generate revenue for the state…
Senator Abe pleaded with the Rivers residents, especially those in the Eleme kingdom to vote for him because he has plans to better their lives. Adding that he is qualified for the job because he has been tasted.
While responding, his royal highness, King Appolus Chu, OFR expressed that he is not a politician, he is a traditional ruler and the father of the land, so he is not in a position to campaign or endorses any politician or political party.
King Chu blessed the SDP governorship candidate, he prayed for fruitfulness in his journey as he go about his campaign in his candidacy.
