DEMOLITION: Senator Philip Aduda Engages Paipe and Durumi 3 Residents, Promises Action


Former Minority Leader of the 9th Senate, Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, CON, has pledged to support residents of Paipe and Durumi 3 communities as they grapple with the effects of demolition exercises and looming displacement threats.

The engagement brought together community leaders, stakeholders, and residents to discuss the challenges facing the two communities. While Paipe has already experienced demolition activities, residents of Durumi 3 remain apprehensive over ongoing threats to their homes and properties.
Speaking during the meeting, Senator Aduda expressed concern over the situation and reassured residents of his commitment to pursuing a peaceful and lasting resolution through dialogue and engagement with relevant authorities.

He emphasized the need to protect the welfare of affected families and ensure that justice and fairness guide any actions concerning the communities.
