The Lagos State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Seye Oladejo, will officially declare his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Mushin Constituency II on May 9, 2026.

According to the Seye Oladejo Campaign Organisation, the declaration ceremony will hold at 110 Olateju Street, Mushin, near Ogba GOS Vono Bus Stop, and is expected to attract party leaders, grassroots mobilisers, community stakeholders, and residents across the constituency.

Tagged “Mother of All Declarations” and promoted with the campaign slogan #Seye4Rep, the event will formally launch Oladejo’s bid and present his agenda for legislative representation.

A respected figure within Lagos APC circles, Oladejo is entering the race on a platform centred on grassroots development, effective representation, and people-focused governance.

Campaign organisers say the declaration is designed as a major political gathering to rally support and strengthen engagement with constituents ahead of the elections.

The campaign structure is being coordinated by Director-General Hon. Otunba Shobande Kayode (Shokas), alongside Deputy Director-General Omoba Noah Oshifeso and Secretary Adedeji Adekunle.

Speaking on his decision to run, Oladejo said his ambition is inspired by a strong commitment to public service and the desire to deliver quality representation to the people of Mushin.

“My campaign is anchored on a clear and unwavering promise to deliver bold, people-centred representation that reflects the needs, dignity, and aspirations of Mushin, while advancing a broader vision for progress across Nigeria,” he stated.

The declaration is expected to officially kick off what observers anticipate will be an active political contest in Mushin Constituency II.
