On Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, Lagos DSVA paid a courtesy visit to Alaiyeluwa Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, the Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom. The Executive Secretary, Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, thanked the His Royal Majesty for his significant support during the 16 Days of Activism, especially the advocacy walk held in Ikate on December 10th, marking the end of the campaign.

She emphasized the pivotal role of traditional rulers in shaping societal values, and His Royal Majesty commended the agency’s impactful work in the state, pledging his continued support in addressing sexual and gender-based violence.

During the visit, the king was presented with a plaque and adorned with a purple ribbon in honor of his service and exceptional leadership, while the chiefs in attendance were also adorned with purple ribbons.
