OGUN WEST APC STAKEHOLDERS RALLY BEHIND CONSENSUS CANDIDATE, REAFFIRM UNITY AHEAD OF 2027


Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun West have declared a united front ahead of the 2027 governorship election, throwing their full weight behind Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola as the party’s consensus candidate.



The resolution was reached during the Ogun West APC Stakeholders Forum held in Ilaro, where party leaders and key figures across the senatorial district gathered to demonstrate solidarity and strengthen internal cohesion.
The meeting drew the presence of top government officials and seasoned politicians, including the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele; Minister of State for Health, Dr. Kunle Salako; and former and serving lawmakers such as Senators Iyabo Anisulowo, Kola Bajomo, Akin Odunsi, Gbolahan Dada, and Tolu Odebiyi.
Also in attendance were prominent stakeholders including Alhaja Salmot Badru, Hon. Tolu Bankole, Hon. Biodun Akinlade, Hon. Gboyega Nosiru Isiaka, Hon. Tunji Akinosi, Hon. Kunle Akinlade, and Hon. Kayode Oladele, alongside other party leaders, government officials, and legislators from the district.
Discussions at the forum centered on unity, coordination, and early mobilization, with participants expressing readiness to work collectively to strengthen the APC’s structure and electoral prospects in Ogun West as preparations begin for the 2027 race.
