Yesterday, Oba Alayeluwa Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, the Oba of Elegushi in Lagos State, and Oba Abdulwasiu Omogbolahan Lawal, Abisogun II, the Oba of Oniru of Lagos, paid a private visit to King Dr Appolus Chu at his palace in Eleme.

Upon their arrival, King Appolus Chu warmly welcomed the Obas, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy of brotherhood, they had a good time in the palace, though this is not the first time Oba of Elegushi and others are paying a visit to King Chu’s palace and vice-versa.

The visit of the Obas acknowledged King Chu’s efforts in building bridges across Nigeria and beyond. King Chu’s dedication towards advocating for peace and unity among traditional rulers has positioned the Eleme kingdom of Rivers State on the map of the world, garnering recognition and connectivity continuously.

The visit of these dignitaries to the Eleme kingdom was a significant step towards strengthening the relationship between the West and the South-south towards national unity.
