In light of planned hunger protests across Nigeria, Dr. Adedayo Benjamins-Laniyi, the Hon. Mandate Secretary of FCTA Women Affairs Secretariat held an interactive town hall meeting with Women Groups Across the FCT to say “No To Protest” with women as part of the peace-building process in Abuja.She told the women to solve any problem but rather not create an opportunity for hooligans to take advantage of the situation to foment trouble. Its was a very successful interaction session and the FCT women says No To PROTEST

Addressing the women of FCT during the Town Hall, Dr. Adedayo Benjamins-Laniyi reminded the women that the FCT Minister said he is ready to provide an avenue for dialogue with various stakeholders in the Territory and to allow them to air their grievances, rather than taking to the streets to protest against the government.
