The Catholic Women of Eleme Diocese paid a courtesy visit to HRH. King Dr. Appolus Chu, OFR, the Egbere Emere Okori & Oneh Eh Nchia the X of Eleme kingdom, at his palace in Eleme, earlier today.

In an address presented by the president of the Catholic Women Organization, Mrs. Njideka Umeh, the Catholic Church congratulates King Chu for his victory as the Oneh Eh Nchia X of Eleme Kingdom and pleads his intervention over the encroachment of individuals on the Catholic School, Ascension high school land in Eleme.

In his response, his royal highness King Chu appreciated the women for coming in their numbers for a courtesy/protest visit. He assured them that the issue of the encroachment will be looked into.

He charged the women to secure their children and wards by taking home the message of awakening consciousness among members of the community starting from the home where mothers are a key symbol of peace, change, unity, and up-rightness in the community and by extension the nation as a whole. He emphasized that a united, peaceful society is a product of United and peaceful families.

He advised the mothers to pay absolute attention to their children and they should educate them and enlighten them about the benefits of taking the path of success and the dangers of touring the path of failure.

King Chu noted that our country Nigeria needs volunteers and change agents, the mothers should fashion their children and wards for them to be among the ambassadors of the country.
