The Mandate Secretary, FCT Women Affairs Secretariat, Honourable Adedayo Benjamins-Laniyi on Thursday, February 15, 2024 played host to former NCWS President; and former Minister Of Women Affairs of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria, Hadjia Zainab Maina.

Her Excellency, Hadjia Zainab Maina said Honourable Adedayo Benjamins-Laniyi was one of her support system during her tenure as Minister. She advised the Mandate Secretary to operate embrace inclusion in respect of party affiliation.

She said there are few Women in Governance,and so Women should team up to assist one another. She expressed delight for her appointment and prayed for the success of The Mandate Secretary and The new Secretariat.

Honourable Adedayo Benjamins-Laniyi expressed delight at the visit and said she was honored to play host to the former Minister.
She said her Mandate is to improve and empower FCT Women from across the Area Councils in line with the Renewed Hope Initiative of the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

The Mandate Secretary received The Former Minister in company of her Heads Of Departments of Media, Special Duties, Adolescent Girls, Education and other members of Staff.
