The Progressive Intellects (TPi) Launch Statewide Grassroots Activation and Strategic Engagement for YAYI & PBAT 2027 in Ogun State

The Progressive Intellects (TPi), led by its Convener, has officially commenced a statewide grassroots activation and strategic engagement drive in support of Senator Olamilekan Adeola and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) ahead of the 2027 general elections in Ogun State.
The initiative kicked off in Yewa, Ilaro, with a high-level delegation led by Amb. Saheed Akanmu, Convener of TPi. The delegation included veteran Nollywood icon Taiwo Hassan, Hon. Salami Ismail Adewale (a.k.a. Small), and Wale Ademokoya, Director General of TPi.

As part of the outreach, the team visited Orile Itolu in Yewa, Ilaro, where they were warmly received by the Baale and other community stakeholders. Discussions focused on the leadership qualities and developmental contributions of Senator Adeola, with community leaders expressing strong confidence in his potential governorship ambition. They affirmed that the community’s over 4,000 registered voters are aligned with the vision of the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
The Baale of Orile Itolu commended Senator Adeola’s ongoing contributions to grassroots development and reiterated the community’s support. He also appealed for continued intervention in key areas, including the completion of the main access road, as well as the provision of schools and healthcare facilities to further enhance the community’s growth.
Demonstrating a firm commitment to grassroots development, Amb. Saheed Akanmu made financial contributions towards the completion of an unfinished school project in the community. Additional support was also extended to the youth, women, and community leadership, reinforcing TPi’s dedication to inclusive empowerment and sustainable development.
This engagement marks the beginning of a broader statewide mobilization effort by The Progressive Intellects, aimed at strengthening political awareness, deepening community relationships, and advancing inclusive development across Ogun State.
