Their discussions centered around strengthening Katsina’s partnership with the Federal Government in broadband expansion, ICT training and infrastructure, and digital innovation.

Dr Dikko shared the progress they have made so far, from establishing an ICT Directorate, training their workforce, and advancing e-Governance, implementing the Treasury Single Account (TSA), to supporting young talents discovered at the Arewa Tech Festival held in Katsina earlier this year.

Dr Bosun commended Katsina’s strides in ICT development and assured us of the FG’s continued commitment to invest more in digital infrastructure and ICT projects in the state.

Katsina State has embraced technology and innovation as a tool for governance and development. With such partnerships and collaborations, they are on course to becoming a leading hub for digital transformation in Northern Nigeria and the country as a whole.
