South East women in the FCT are a very unique nonindigene coalition of mothers, wives, in-laws, sisters, professionals, market women, politicians, single mothers, and widows.
As the RHI coordinator of the FCT zero hunger 6.0 program, it was such a pleasure meeting with them under the leadership of septuagenarian coordinator Dame Anne Frances Nosike.
The dancing, the singing, and celebrating of my Principals @sen_oluremi_tinubu_con @nyesomwike by the women themselves, who had transversed from places as far as Lugbe, Karomajiji to the Mararaba venue.
Their reception was not just one of gratitude but also of resilience and strength, embodying the spirit of hope that the Zero Hunger initiative stands for.
In moments like these, we are reminded of the power of community and the impact that small acts of kindness can have on the lives of others.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this program and to have witnessed firsthand the difference it is making in community and family lives all around the FCT.
