His Royal Highness, King Dr Appolus Chu mourns with the National Council of Women Societies of Nigeria, NCWs for the death of their president and mother, Hajiya Lami Lau. King Chu is a board member of trustee of the NCWs

The death that occurred on the 4th of June 2024 due to a brief illness was announced earlier today by the NCWs.
The remain of late Hajiya Lami was taken to her home town earlier today, the 5th of June, for burial.

Hajiya Lami was present to comfort and mourn with King Chu, who is one of the members of the board of trustee of NCWs, during his late Queen’s burial in Eleme Kingdom on the 10th of May.

King Chu expressed that her presence during the funeral service of his late queen was the last encounter with the deceased. Death and its mysteries, indeed, it takes whom it wants without notification.

Hajiya Lami lau was a hardworking, dedicated, humble personality who worked tirelessly to restructure and bring the NCWs to the spotlight. The organisation will miss her deeply.
