The Mandate Secretary of the Youth Development Secretariat, FCTA, Comrade Abdullahi Suleiman Ango, paid a courtesy visit to the Acting Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Dr. Chris Maiyaki, on Thursday, 21st November 2024.

During the meeting, the Mandate Secretary explored opportunities for collaboration with the NUC to benefit youths in the FCT, particularly in the areas of education, ICT, and agriculture. In response, Dr. Maiyaki outlined several strategies to support youth development, including empowerment initiatives, revitalization of the FCT University of Technology, promotion of vocational education, and scholarship programs.

Concluding the meeting, Dr. Maiyaki expressed his best wishes to the Mandate Secretary and his team, remarking, “I wish you the best and hope that you will create moments of inspiration for the youths of the FCT.”
