Comrade Abdullahi Suleiman Ango, the newly appointed Mandate Secretary for Youth Development in the Federal Capital Territory, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Olusola Odumosu, FCT Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC). Their meeting aimed to explore potential collaborations to enhance youth development in the FCT, focusing on security and empowerment through joint security awareness programs.

These initiatives will educate youths on security concerns and prevention strategies, aligning with Ango’s priority to promote youth development and empowerment in the FCT. His appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as directed by Honorable Minister of the FCT, Barr. Nyesom Wike, underscores this commitment.

The Youth Development Secretariat, led by Ango, will provide an administrative structure for coordinating youth-related matters, implementing policies and programs, and offering training for skill acquisition, entrepreneurship, and leadership. This falls under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

By partnering with the NSCDC, Ango seeks to leverage their security and empowerment expertise, ultimately benefiting FCT youths. This visit demonstrates his dedication to engaging key stakeholders in support of youth development.
