Guodo glam as Tin City Fashion Week holds Nov 16

All is set for the Tin City Fashion Week (TCFW) as it makes a big entrance on the global fashion scene once again, with its fifth edition on November 16, 2025, at Novel Suites & Resort in Jos, Plateau State.

The fifth TCFW, themed “Guodo Glam,” will be a showcase of the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria’s central and northern regions through the iconic woven fabric, Guodo.
In a chat with our correspondent, visionary Christabel Bentu expressed her excitement and gratitude about the upcoming event.
“The fashion week is all about celebrating our unique Guodo fabric, which is a product of our woven factory and a symbol of our region’s rich cultural heritage.
“Over the past four years, we have worked tirelessly to bring Guodo to the forefront of the fashion world, and this fifth edition is a testament to our resilience and determination,” she said.
Bentu said the event would feature designers from Ghana and Seychelles, as well as Nigerian talents from Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja, who will showcase their creativity and skills using Guodo woven fabric. The event will also host visiting models from Nigeria and Ghana, adding to the glamour and excitement of the occasion.
“This is more than just a fashion week; it’s a celebration of our heritage and a platform to showcase our unique Guodo fabric to Africa and the world.
“We are proud to be doing it for the North and central region of Nigeria, and we invite everyone to join us as we make history and create unforgettable memories,” Bentu said.
The Tin City Fashion Week promises to be an unforgettable experience, with Igodo taking centre stage as the star of the show.
The organizers have promised a pleasant fashion and culture fest like never before, urging stakeholders to keep a date on November 16, 2025, and get ready to be captivated and wowed by the glamour and creativity of Guodo Glam.
