The National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) has entered into a strategic partnership with Windsor Gallery to improve the upcoming National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST) 2024.
The collaboration, sealed with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Monday, August 12, 2024, aims to elevate NAFEST by integrating art into the festival’s core offerings. NCAC Director General, Obi Asika, expressed enthusiasm in the partnership, which according to him will boost Nigeria’s arts and culture sector.
Windsor Gallery led by Managing Director, Richard Vadelago, will bring together eight galleries to collaborate and participate at the NAFEST 2024. These galleries will host exhibitions, conversations, and other art-related activities, enriching the festival’s cultural experience.
This strategic alliance marks a significant step towards repositioning Nigeria as a global art hub, providing a platform for artists and art enthusiasts to connect and appreciate the nation’s rich cultural heritage.
