Tetracore Energy Set to Commission Ghana’s First CNG Facility

Tetracore Energy Limited, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Olakunle Williams, is set to commission Ghana’s first Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) facility, a landmark project aimed at delivering cheaper, cleaner, and more reliable energy solutions.

His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, will serve as the Chief Host at the commissioning ceremony.
Developed under a Build, Own and Operate (BOO) framework, the CNG facility represents Ghana’s first virtual gas pipeline network, designed to expand access to natural gas beyond traditional pipeline infrastructure.
The project, which is being executed in phases, will feature a 5MMscf Pressure Regulating and Metering Station (PRMS) and a 6.2 MMSCFD gas compression facility, enabling the delivery of gas to end users across multiple locations. This initiative underscores Tetracore Energy’s commitment to advancing sustainable energy infrastructure and supporting Ghana’s energy transition.
The commissioning will take place on Monday, 29th January 2026, at the Tetracore CNG Facility, Tema Industrial Area, Kpone-Tema, Ghana.
