Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Umar Radda has launched a cash support program of fifty thousand naira (#50,000) each for five hundred (500) women drawn from across Katsina State.
On Monday, October 6th, 2025, Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Umar Radda (also known as Jagabar Matan Kasar Hausa), officially flagged off the disbursement of the funds — an initiative provided by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for women across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
While delivering her speech, she explained that this financial support — established by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu — is meant for women in all parts of Nigeria, including Abuja. The purpose is to empower women to start small businesses and become self-reliant. She noted that the program is currently ongoing nationwide and urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the support they received.
Several dignitaries delivered remarks at the event and expressed gratitude to both the First Lady of Nigeria and the Governor’s wife for their efforts toward improving the welfare of the people.
Among those present were the wife of the Deputy Governor of Katsina State, Hajiya Asmau Faruk Jobe; the wife of the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Hajiya Safa Nasir Yahaya; and the wife of the Chief of Staff to the Government House.
