Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State welcomed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu to Jos for the funeral of Mama Lydia Yilwatda, mother of APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda.

The President’s attendance, despite his busy schedule, demonstrates his respect for Plateau’s people and his commitment to the values of love, unity, and faith embodied by Mama Lydia.

Governor Mutfwang appreciated the President’s call for religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence, highlighting the strength that comes from the state’s diversity.

On behalf of Plateau’s government and people, Governor Mutfwang thanked the President and First Lady for their condolences and solidarity with the Yilwatda family.

The Governor also updated the President on ongoing projects in agriculture, infrastructure, and urban renewal, including the Tin City Metro Buses, which align with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
