Ambassador Emmanuel Nelson Usman, Chairman of ABIS Group, is set to launch The ABIS Livestock Academy on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the NIRSAL Auditorium in Abuja. This training institute aims to bridge the gap in Nigeria’s livestock sector, promoting sustainable development and reliance.

The academy’s launch theme, “Advancing Institutional Knowledge Transfer in Nigeria’s Livestock Sector Towards Sustainable Development & Reliance,” highlights its mission to equip Nigerians with the skills needed to manage livestock effectively. By doing so, it will enhance food security and create job opportunities, particularly for the youth.

ABIS Group’s vision is to redefine livestock processing through innovation, sustainability, and excellence. The establishment of the ABIS Livestock Academy will contribute significantly to the sector’s growth, creating a centre of excellence that will produce world-class professionals in livestock development.

The academy is expected to have a positive impact on the economy, creating direct and indirect jobs and contributing to food security. With ABIS Group’s existing achievements, including the creation of over 400 direct jobs and 3,000-4,000 indirect jobs, the launch of the ABIS Livestock Academy is a significant step towards advancing Nigeria’s livestock sector.
