Princess Atika Aliyu-Ajanah, Executive Director (Projects) at the North Central Development Commission (NCDC). She was appointed by President Bola Tinubu on May 9, 2025, as part of a strategic move to boost regional development in Nigeria’s Middle Belt. As Executive Director, Princess Atika will oversee large-scale project implementation, monitor capital interventions, and drive stakeholder engagement across the North Central region, comprising Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, and the Federal Capital Territory.

Before taking on this role, Princess Atika served as a board member of the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) and held key advisory positions in various institutions, focusing on women empowerment, rural infrastructure, and regional integration. Her appointment has been widely welcomed, with stakeholders praising her leadership style and experience.
