As journalists, it is our duty to beam light on matters of interest. An African proverb says “Don’t drown the man that taught you to swim”. Rather, direct the air, sunlight and ventilate him as much as you can.
If you throw sand into a well from which you drunk, others and even you may not get water from it when thirsty! hence, it is wise that you keep your well void of all impurities at all times.
These and more are the reason we keep flying the flag of our confidant, our counselor, our mentor, our admirable king. No wonder he is referred to as “Nganga Emere” because of how handsome he looks.
Just as parent appreciates and are proud of a child that is doing well. The children also reserves the right to appreciates a parent that made them proud.
